ATT.NET EMAIL IMAP SERVER SETTINGS:

The ATT.NET email settings using IMAP are mentioned below. You need to apply the following settings in order to use the incoming email services.

Step 1: The account type should be IMAP.

Step 2: As part of the username, you need to enter your ATT email address.

Step 3: Enter the required password for the account.

Step 4: For the incoming server, the hostname should be imap.mail.att.net

Step 5: The server port needs to be 993.

Step 6: Click on Yes for SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) /TLS (Transport Layer Security), which is used mainly to secure network communication.

Step 7: After entering all the above-mentioned details of the att.net email IMAP settings, you can enjoy all the ATT incoming mail services on your network device.

ATT.NET EMAIL SETTINGS FOR ANDROID:

Step 1: First, you need to choose the manual setup method on your ATT Email settings page.
Step 2: Choose the IMAP Account and enter the following incoming SMTP settings.

IMAP Server: imap.mail.att.net

Security Type: None

Port: 993 for IMAP

Secure Port: 993

Security Type: SSL/TLS

Incoming Port: 143

OUTGOING SMTP SETTINGS FOR ANDROID DEVICES:

Step 1: Outgoing Server (SMTP) - Secured Port: 465
Step 2: Secure type: SSL/TLS
Step 3: Outgoing Server (SMTP roaming server) - Secure Port: 587
Step 4: Secure type: SSL/TLS
Step 5: Incoming port: 587
Step 6: Once you have entered all the required credentials, click on Next.
Step 7: By now, your ATT.NET email settings would have got fine-tuned for the updated Android version.
Step 8: Now, you can access all your AT&T emails on your Android device.
