Steps To Set Up Comcast Email In Mozilla Thunderbird

• Step 1: On your computer, launch Mozilla Thunderbird by double-clicking its shortcut icon on the desktop.
• Step 2: Click the Accounts tab and select Set up an account –> Email.
• Step 3: Alternatively, click the Tools menu and select Account Settings. from the drop-down list. Click on Account Actions and select Add Mail Account.
• Step 4: In the dialog box that appears, input your name, email address, and password in the available fields.
• Step 5: Click Continue and select the IMAP (remote folders) option.
• Step 6: Click the Configure Manually button.

Configure the IMAP Settings

• Step 1: Select Server Settings from the left-side panel.
• Step 2: Input the incoming mail server name in the Server Name field.

• Step 4: Under Security Settings, choose the SSL/TLS option.
• Step 5: Choose the Normal password option from the Authentication method drop-down menu.

• Step 1: Once you have configured the IMAP settings, click the Outgoing Server (SMTP) tab from the left-side panel to configure the Comcast Server SMTP settings.
