How to Configure Yahoo Mail In Outlook 2017?

Step 1: Before setting up your Yahoo account on Outlook, log in to your Yahoo mail using a web browser.
Step 2: Click on the Menu button that is available on the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Select the Account Info option and choose the Account Security tab from the left-side panel.
Step 4: Toggle the "Allow apps that use the less secure sign-in" button.
Step 5: Remember that the above method can be implemented only if two-step verification is disabled on your account.
Step 6: Now, open the Microsoft Outlook from your desktop and click on the File tab.
Step 7: Go to the Info tab and click the Add account button.
Step 8: Choose the Manual setup or additional server types option and click Next.
Step 9: Select POP or IMAP as your account type from the given options.

Step 10: In the User Information field, type the name based on your wish and enter the email address.
Step 11: Under the Server Information column, click on the Account Type pull-down menu and select POP or IMAP.
Step 12: Type the incoming mail server name as 
Step 13: Enter smtp.mail.yahoo.com as the outgoing mail server (SMTP) name and move to the Login Information section.
Step 14: Enter the full yahoo mail ID in the UserName field and type your password in the required field.
Step 15: Click on the More Settings button and choose the Outgoing Server tab.
Step 16: Mark the My outgoing server(SMTP) requires authentication checkbox and Use same settings as my incoming mail server radio button.
Step 17: Navigate to the Advanced tab and enter the port number near the Incoming server.
Step 18: If you wish to use IMAP as an incoming mail server for your Yahoo account, type the port number 993 for a secure connection.
Step 19: Else, if you wish to use POP, enter 995 as the port number for a secure connection.
Step 20: For the Outgoing server(SMTP), enter 465 or 587 as port numbers.
Step 21: Make sure to select the SSL option from the pull-down bars to access the encrypted connection.
Step 22: Click on the OK button and close the More Settings tab.
Step 23: If you wish to verify your server settings, click on the Test Account Settings button in the Test Account Settings field.
