- Step 1: You need to open the Outlook app first.
- Step 2: In the Outlook window, click the Home tab and select New group followed by the New Email option.
- Step 3: Alternatively, you can open a new email tab by pressing the Ctrl + N shortcut keys.
- Step 4: Enter the subject of the email in the Subject field.
- Step 5: Enter the body of content that you wish to use in the email template.
- Step 6: Make sure to remove the configured signature before saving the template.
- Step 7: If you fail to remove the Outlook signature, it will add the signature automatically whenever a new email is created.
- Step 8: After entering the necessary details in the email window, click the File tab available at the top-left corner of the screen.
- Step 9: Select the "Save as" tab from the drop-down menu and enter your desired file name in the text box.
- Step 10: Click the Save as type pull-down menu and choose the Outlook Template (*.oft) option.
- Step 11: Click the Save button and close the email window.
- Step 12: Next, you can verify this by composing a new email using the Outlook template.
- Step 13: Click the Home button and select New Items followed by More Items.
- Step 14: Click the Choose Form option to open the Choose From dialogue box.
- Step 15: Click the Look in drop-down arrow and select the User Templates in File System option.
- Step 16: In the Choose Form window, select the email template you created and click the Open button.
- Step 17: In the Outlook app, you can also create an email template for quick replies.
