If you are a new user, you can set up your email account on eM Client easily. eM Client is compatible with macOS and Windows. It is a desktop application with special features like calendars, instant messaging, and tasks. Consider the steps that are given below to know how to setup eM client.

  • Step 1: Open the eM Client app. Select New Account.
  • Step 2: Choose the Automatic Setup option. 
  • Step 3: Click the Tools menu and select the Accounts option.
  • Step 4: Click on the + icon and select the email domain.
  • Step 5: If you don't find your email account, click on the Next button.
  • Step 6: Enter the email address and type the password of your account.
  • Step 7: Click on the Start Now button.
  • Step 8: Enter your name and type the account name in the New Account window. Select Next.
  • Step 9: Choose the account type as IMAP or POP.
  • Step 10: Enter the incoming server settings for your email account and click Next.
  • Step 11: Type in the correct SMTP server settings.
  • Step 12: To add accounts, select the Tools menu.
  • Step 13: Select the Accounts option and click the New Account option.
  • Step 14: Choose the Contacts section and CalDAV.
  • Step 15: You can now configure your email account using the required settings.
  • Step 16: Click on the Finish button once the configuration process is complete.
  • Step 17: When prompted for confirmation to sync with your email account, click on the Accept button at the bottom of the page.
  • Step 18: Now, the account will be verified and will be ready to use on eM Client.
  • Step 19: Select the authentication type as password.
