How To Use Protonmail With Gmail

This setup will help you to forward the emails automatically when you receive them in the future.

  • Step 1:Open your Gmail account.
  • Step 2:Click the gear-like symbol in the top right corner to open Settings. 
  • Step 3:Look for the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
  • Step 4:Select Add a forwarding address to add your ProtonMail account. 
  • Step 5:Enter your ProtonMail ID in the window and click Next and Proceed.
  • Step 6:Open ProtonMail and you will receive a confirmation mail from Google.
  • Step 7:Open the message and click on the link to verify your ProtonMail address and confirm forwarding your emails.
  • Step 8:Once the confirmation process is done, refresh your Gmail account.
  • Step 9:In the Forwarding and POP/IMAP section, choose Forward a copy of incoming mail and select your ProtonMail address from the drop-down menu.
  • Step 10:Click Save Changes.

Step 1: Export your Gmail contacts to a CSV

  • Step 7:In the new window, select Export.

  • Step 3:Click the box to select the CSV or drop your CSV file in the box
