Netscape is a web browser and the exact name of this browser is Netscape Navigator. It remained an important web application in the history of the internet until 1998. Method-1: Set The Compatibility View

Step 1: Launch the Internet Explorer browser on your computer and wait for some time.

Step 2: When the window opens up, click the Tools menu and then select Compatibility View Settings.

Step 3: Next, enter the Netscape URL and click the Add button.

Step 4: Select the OK button to save the settings and then refresh the webpage to apply the settings. Now your Netscape error is fixed

Method-2: Downgrade The Internet Explorer

Step 1: If you are using the Internet Explorer 9 or later versions, then this error would occur. So downgrade to the Internet Explorer 8 version, which is compatible.
Step 2: Open the Control Panel window on the desktop and select the Programs and Features menu.
Step 3: Click the View Installed updates menu on the left side panel and navigate to the Uninstall an update section.
Step 4: From the list of programs, find the Microsoft Windows menu and right-click Internet Explorer (version number).
Step 5: After that, select the Uninstall option and then click Yes when the system prompts to uninstall.
Step 6: When the uninstall is done, restart the computer and install the IE 8 on it. Hereafter you wouldn;t face Netscape error.
