How To Verify iCloud account?

The Apple ID verification is an additional step to verify iCloud account. The Apple ID is an authentication method that is valid for Apple and iOS devices. With just one Apple ID, you can access all of the Apple services like App Store, Apple Music, iBook, Newsstand, Mac App Store, and other in-app purchases. With the 2- factor authentication, you will be able to access your iCloud account only on a trusted device or web. In case you want to sign in to your account on a new device, you have to go past two authentications. They are the password and 6-digit verification code. The code will be sent to your iPhone. When you enter the code, your authentication will be verified and only then you could access your account on the other device. Let us consider a scenario where you have signed in to your iCloud account on a trusted device (iPhone) and now you want to sign in to your account on a new device. So you will have to verify your account on the new device. The steps are as follows.

Step 1:Go to the login page of iCloud on your new device.

Step 2:Enter your iCloud email address and password on the login page.

Step 3:Now, go to your trusted device and you could see a notification on the screen.

Step 4:Tap Allow on the notification and you will receive a verification code on the screen.

Step 5:Now, type the verification code on your new device to verify your iCloud account and log into it.

Step 6:In case you did not receive any verification code on your trusted device, then tap or click the Didn’t get a verification code link on your new device.

Step 7:Select the option to send the verification code to the trusted device through a text message or phone call.

Step 8:Once you receive the code on your trusted device, enter it on your new device.

Step 9:If you are still not able to receive the verification code, then you can receive it on your trusted device with the help of the below steps.

Step 10:Go to the Settings screen, then tap your name > Passwords & Security > Get Verification Code.

Step 11:Now, type to code on the new device to access and verify iCloud account.
