Unpack

Step 1: Unpack your Viasat modem kit and remove all the protective tapes.

Assemble Your Viasat Modem

Step 1: Connect the coax cable of your dish to the coax cable connector of the modem.
Step 2: Connect the Ethernet cable between the modem and the Ethernet jack of your computer.
Step 3: Now, insert the AC power adapter into the modem and plug the power cord into the AC power source.
Step 4: Once the installation is complete, the LED lights of the modem start to light up. These lights actually indicate the operational status of the modem.

Step 1:As you have successfully set up your modem, you can start connecting your smartphones, tablets, TVs, thermostats, and security cameras. The Home network enables you to connect to the Internet anywhere at home without any cables.
Step 2:You can connect to your Viasat modem over wired and wireless connections. There are four ports on your Viasat modem so that it can accommodate four wired devices using the Ethernet cable.
Step 3:With the network name and password, you can connect your Viasat modem to the wireless network. You can locate the network name and the password of your Viasat Wi-Fi modem at the back of the modem. Note them down and connect to the Wi-Fi network of the Viasat modem using the network name/SSID and the password/key.
