Yahoo Mail is one of the most-used free web-based emails today. However, Yahoo doesn’t have any Outbox folder unless it is created manually. In general, it has common folders such as Drafts, Trash, Inbox, and Sent. If you have configured your Yahoo Mail account on an email client on your smartphone, the Outbox folder will be available temporarily. You can also see the Outbox folder in the Yahoo Mail app. If your Yahoo email stuck in Outbox, follow the quick steps given below.
- Step 1: On your smartphone, verify that you have a stable Internet connection.
- Step 2: If you have connected your mobile phone to a local wireless network, verify the Wi-Fi connection.
- Step 3: Close the Yahoo Mail app if you have already logged on.
- Step 4: Restart your smartphone and reconnect it to your wireless network.
- Step 5: Tap the Yahoo Mail icon on the applications screen to launch it.
- Step 6: Next, tap the Menu icon available at the top and select the Outbox folder from the displayed list.
- Step 7: Choose the email that has been stuck in the Outbox folder.
- Step 8: Tap the Delete icon to remove the email from the Outbox folder.
- Step 9: Now, compose a new email to the same recipient and check if the problem has been resolved.
- Step 10: If the problem persists, remove and reconfigure your email account.
Steps To Resolve
- Steps 1: If you have configured an IMAP or POP account of your Yahoo Mail in the Microsoft Outlook email client, you can see the Outbox folder. You can see the pending emails in Outlook’s Outbox folder.
- Steps 2: When the email message gets stuck in your Outbox, click the Send/Receive tab at the top of your Outlook window and select the Work Offline option.
- Steps 3: Next, click the Outbox tab in the navigation panel.
- Steps 4: Locate the email stuck in the Outbox folder and delete it by pressing the Delete key.
- Steps 5: You can also delete it by clicking and dragging it to the Drafts folder. Give a double-click to open the message and press the Delete button to remove it from your mailbox.
- Steps 6: If the problem persists, open the Task Manager by pressing the Ctrl + Alt + Del shortcut keys.
- Steps 7: Now, go to the Processes tab and select the Outlook.exe process.
- Steps 8: Click the End Process button to close your Outlook app.
- Steps 9: Restart your Outlook and set it to work online.
- Steps 10: Try sending the message stuck in the Outbox folder to check if the Yahoo email stuck in Outbox problem has been resolved.
