How To Fix Zoho Mail Error 550?

The Zoho mail error 550 error code that is displayed when the spam folder blocks the message from reaching the recipient or when the recipient's email server blocks the email. The error is also called SMTP error code 550.

Method 1: Rechecking The Zoho Mail

• Check the recipients' email addresses; make sure that the email address doesn't contain any spelling mistakes or extra spaces.
• Try to send the email to the recipient after a few hours. The recipient's server may be down temporarily and return after a while.
• Give a period of rest and send your mail. If the error message reappears, then proceed with the following steps.

Method 2: Change Your Outgoing Mail Port

Check the email application; if you're using port 25 as an outgoing port, there are possibilities for the server to block the mail as spam. Change your port and check if the Zoho error 550 resolves.

Method 3: Enable SMTP

• On your computer, select File and click on the Account Settings tab.
• Check and select your email in the Email tab and mark the Change icon above it.
• The Internet Email Settings window will open. Select Outgoing Server and make sure to select the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication option.
• Also, click the Use same settings as my incoming mail server radio button.
• Click OK and complete the enabling process.   

Now, check if the Zoho mail error 550 issue has been resolved.
